CD "Jazz at Heart III" with arrangements of jazz and pop classics and original compositions released

Jazz at Heart is giving a pace to the beat of your heart. Moreover, it may induce a musical heart affair, if your mind is catched too. Jazz at Heart is intended to touch your heart and to remind you that love has to come from the heart. Music can heal your heart, if it gets broken.

Christina Jaschkowiak (vocal) is a young cardiologist in training from Munich, Germany. She was trained as a vocalist in Hannover and has worked as a vocal solist in a number of jazz bands.

Gustav Steinhoff (piano) is a professor of cardiac surgery in Rostock. He moved to jazz music after a classical training on church organ and piano. Jazz at Heart was installed as a project by both musicians in the summer of 2004 as a dedication to jazz and to support medical and patient organizations.

In the begin of July the the formation released their third CD called "Jazz At Heart III" with arrangements of jazz and pop classics and original compositions. The CD was recorded at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Rostock and can be ordered at the homepage www.jazzatheart.com for Euro 17.99.
